Autumn Visit to London 4th October 2017: Brompton Cemetery and the Garden Museum

A chance to explore Brompton Cemetery, one of the designed landscapes described in the Trust’s Spring Lecture in March 2017, and/or visit the newly re-designed Garden Museum in Lambeth.

Brompton Cemetery. Meet by the North Lodge entrance at 10.45am for a guided tour by Andy Williams, Royal Parks Manager, finishing by 1pm.

The Garden Museum (Lambeth Palace Road, next to Lambeth Palace). Meet at 3pm for an introduction by Christopher Woodward, Director of the Museum, followed by freedom to wander at leisure until 5pm.

Early Autumn London Visit 2017

Autumn Lecture Wednesday 18th October 2017 by Richard Bisgrove

The Trust’s Autumn Lecture this year will be given by Richard Bisgrove, author and retired Course Director in Landscape Management at Reading University, on the subject of ‘William Robinson: the Wild Gardener’. It will take place at Grazeley Village Hall, Church Lane, Grazeley RG7 1LD on Wednesday 18th October at 8pm, preceded by the Trust’s annual general meeting at 7pm and light refreshments at 7.30pm. Members £10, non-members £12, member plus one guest £20.
